60-degree temperatures? Light drizzly rain? Canadian geese enjoying an early morning swim in the reflecting pool on the National Mall? Did I wake up to find spring’s early arrival? Nope, just some fluke in the atmosphere or global warming at work. But I’ll take a warm January workout any day! Because I love springtime and it put a little extra *spring* (no pun intended) in my step.
Today was pushups day and we did a total of 210 over the course of the hour. I was in charge of keeping the count and thank goodness I did not mess it up; otherwise we would have been in repeat mode and I was not going to let the team down. Of course, as usual, there was plenty of jogging and getting on the ground for additional core work. I was wet and muddy by the end but feeling good and I think I might have a chance now at winning an arm wrestle competition. Any takers?
